Being in the market for a simple pair of tennis shoes is not as simple as it sounds. There are several different varieties of tennis shoes, and you will need to evaluate which one will work the best for your needs.

Best Tennis Shoes

There are several key items you'll need to know. For example the type of surface you are playing on, the contour of your foot, along with the price range you are willing to spend are just a few. The sturdier the tennis shoe, the better. If the shoe provides good support of your foot, while you are in motion, it will help reduce injuries.

Tennis is a fast paced game in which you need to be quick on your feet. Your tennis shoe is a valuable asset to this. Some tennis players play on several different types of courts.

I recommend having suitable shoes for each type of surface you play on. The tennis shoe that would be recommended for a hard court would not have the same sole texture as one you would use to play on a grass court.

When you go to purchase your shoes, also have the salesperson size your foot. It is important to have the correct size to avoid unnecessary blisters or arch discomfort. You will need to make sure the arch support is what is needed for your specific arch.

The price range for tennis shoes can also vary drastically. If you are an avid tennis player, you will want to invest in a better pair of shoes. In the long run, spending the few extra dollars will be rewarding if the shoe comes with a warrantee. This way, if the shoe wears prematurely or anything should happen to them with normal wear, they can be replaced for little to no charge.

Make sure you research the warranty so that you have a full understanding to avoid any misunderstandings if or when you need to return them.

If you choose the correct footwear for your stature and your level of tennis playing, you'll not only have a comfortable game of tennis, but also a better one. Your tennis shoes will aid in your balance and control to better your game.

The Yonex Tennis Shoes Power Cushion SHT 306 tennis shoes are some really neat shoes. They are sporty and lightweight. I love them because they are good for my feet. The shoes are structured to support your feet while enjoying your sport in style. It's really a great shoe. The Yonex Tennis Shoes Power Cushion SHT 306 tennis shoes are designed with ergonomic design to help. While they are a bit expensive; they are worth every penny. Take it from somebody that has used them for tennis. I think it even helps my game some. You will have to try them for yourself though.

Yonex Power Cushion SHT 306 Tennis Shoes

These shoes are designed to be true to natural size. I bought mine in the exact size I always wear. They fit like they were custom made. I was impressed. The Yonex Tennis Shoes Power Cushion SHT 306 tennis shoes have a 3D graphite sheet built into them to prevent lateral slipping during your game. This means that you can play tennis with a better grip on the ground. That is safer.

While I had to break these shoes in a bit; it didn't take long at all. They are built to fit sooner than most tennis shoes. The insole has a cushion that provides a steady support to the step. In plain english this means that you will be less likely to trip. If you are like me, and a bit of a klutz, this is well worth every penny invested.

The Yonex Tennis Shoes Power Cushion SHT 306 tennis shoes come in black, orange and white. you can also get them in blue and Navy. There is also a silver Yonex Tennis Shoes Power Cushion SHT 306 tennis shoe with a lime and back accent.

Finally, the Yonex Tennis Shoes Power Cushion SHT 306 tennis shoes are the most lightweight shoes available today. The Yonex Tennis Shoes Power Cushion SHT 306 tennis shoes are approximately14.3 ounces, in size 10.5 as an example. These are tennis shoes for performance. Try a pair and you will agree with me, that the Yonex Tennis Shoes Power Cushion SHT 306 tennis shoes are one the best ones available today.

There are numerous tennis shoes out there in the world today, so it is very hard to choose the one that is right for you. There are many aspects of the tennis shoe that you have to consider before purchasing a tennis shoe that is right for you.

Nike Air Courtballistec 1.1 Mens Tennis Shoes

I have been a tennis accessory reviewer for years now, and I have seen hundreds of shoes. I have tried every single one of them and my job was to write a review of each of the tennis shoes. As I approached the Nike Air Courtballistec 1.1 tennis shoes, the first thing I noticed was the design.

The design of the Nike Air Courtballistec 1.1 is very unique. The quality of the material looks very nice from far away, and the design is superb. There were numerous colors for this shoe, so you have plenty to choose from. When I actually got to touch the material, the material was high quality leather. It felt very nice and durable. The durability is very important in picking a tennis shoe because you do not want to spend another handful of cash to purchase good shoes after wearing the shoe for a short period of time. One of the best features of this shoe is the durability because it has the ability to last long periods of time. This means that you will not have to worry about purchasing another pair of shoes for a long time in the future.

Just like other good shoes, there is air compressed into the heel area for comfort. This way, the shoe maximizes the comfort in your feet during the entire time it is being worn. This is significant because it is very annoying and frustrating to have other factors that are bothering you with the tennis game asides from your opponent. You want to be able to concentrate on the game itself and nothing else. Another excellent feature of this shoe is the sole of the shoes. This way, you can play on any surface and still experience the comfort of the shoes.

Overall, the best part about this shoe is the durability and comfort. You will have access to both this awesome benefits when you go ahead and purchase this shoe. Unlike other comfortable shoes, the price on this shoe is very affordable. It is definitely in the affordable range for many tennis players. It usually ranges anywhere from 40 dollars to 80 dollars online, so it is not out of reach for people who want to get a comfortable shoe for a low price.

The Babolat Propulse Roddick Tennis Shoe comes in several colors and styles. They are available for men, women and juniors (Children). They come in several styles and color combinations so you always look great on the tennis court.

Babolat Propulse Roddick Tennis Shoes

The Babolat Propulse Roddick Tennis Shoes are reasonably priced from about $50 to $120. They are a definite investment in your game and comfort. They have been updated and given a cosmetic lift for 2009. They also feature some new technologies. The Babolat Propulse Roddic Tennis Shoe uses a new OCS (Optimized Cell System) outsole, which comes with a six-month warranty. The outsole is actually made by Michelin (the rubber tire folks). This new outsole also provides great traction. There is a new (made just for the company) four-point foot support that gives improved court propulsion.

The upper of the shoe is made of 60% mesh. The outsole as we said provides improved traction with 20% surface contact than most other shoes. They also have a 360 degree wrap around closure and adjustable foot belt. The midsole is made of Pebax Rebound Fish polymer in between a dynamic camflex material. This helps with diagonal and lateral movement.

The shoe, as the name implies is endorsed by Andy Roddick and made by Babolat. Babolat is a company that is based in France and makes tennis, badminton and squash equipment. They are famous for their racquets, which are used by players like Andy Roddic, Fernando Gonzalez and Igo Andreeve.

The shoe was found in tests to have excellent fit and comfort, and hug the entire surface of the foot. They feel very secure when laced up. There is a bit of a break in period but once they are broken in, you will not want to take them off. There is just enough cushioning, and they still have that low to the ground feel that tennis players love.

A medium height arch support also is very comfortable. The 360-degree support strap also helped to make the shoe feel stable and supportive. The shoe weighs about 16.9 ounces for a size 10.5.

The shoe is an all around excellent choice for men, women and juniors alike.

I find that the Babolat Team All Court provide all the modern comforts that make for dynamic shoes while keeping a classic athletic image. Babolat Team All Court Men’s Tennis Shoes are available for you in several editions with new benefits or variations on a similar concept.

Babolat Team All Court Mens Tennis Shoes

The regular Babolat Team All Court Men’s Tennis Shoes has an updated 2009 model made with performance rubber to enhance durability. I noticed that the shoes are also their lightest edition, weighing less than 1 pound. The shock system in the Babolat Team All Court provides you with absorption and even distribution of shock to prevent and alleviate joint problems in your legs. The inside of the shoe is equipped with a memory foam sole for your added comfort.

This edition is not the only Babolat Team All Court Men’s Tennis Shoe for you to consider. Others provide a variety of additional benefits. Babolat Team All Court III, for example, comes with a 360 degree flexible, adjustable support system.

In general, I think the look of the Babolat Team All Court Men’s Tennis Shoes is rather unimposing. It is not a bold fashion statement, but I believe it provides a simple look. The black version of the flagship shoe is a solid black with accents that are a slightly different shade. In general, other editions reflect a similar style. There is one solid color, with accents along the sides, back, and bottom of the shoe. This allows you to have a good-looking shoe without having to worry about what the shoe goes with.

If purchasing a pair of Babolat Team All Court Men’s Tennis Shoes, my one caution would be to ensure that the sizing is correct for you. The shoes tend to run small by about one-half of a size. It may be worth going into a store near you to find one that provides the right amount of comfort and support.

I think the Babolat Team All Court Men’s Tennis Shoes are worth the money if you are using them for their intended purposes. The shoes have given me more control and support on the court. I tried them out because professionals like Andy Roddick use them for playing. If you are interested in shoes for a similar use, the Babolat Team All Court Men’s Tennis Shoes are worth trying out.

A tennis shoe is a type of shoe that is normally worn during demanding or physical activities. The tennis shoe was actually a variation of the sneaker, and it was developed specifically to be lightweight to help in training for the game of tennis. This variation of the sneaker caught on quickly and they were thought to be very light, airy, casual, and comfortable.

Many people wear tennis shoes today when they are active, but they also wear them just for fashion, as well. Tennis shoes might be the right kind of shoes for you if you are looking for something casual and comfortable to wear. They come in many styles and colors to match all kinds of fashion statements you might want to make. If you are an athletic person who walks often, runs often, or competes in sports often then tennis shoes may be the perfect footwear for your active lifestyle.

There are so many different brands of tennis shoes today. They come made in many different materials, as well. People that are more centered around athletic lifestyles often look for the high end brand leather tennis shoes that cater to professional sport athletes. Some people consider the reputation of the shoe makers before purchasing just any brand of tennis shoes. Some people like to make sure they are purchasing an eco-friendly shoe that has been made by a fairly paid employee in a safely run facility. Some people want tennis shoes that are vegan, meaning not containing any animal derived materials. Canvas is a very popular tennis shoe lately because of the eco-friendly trend in fashion.

So, if you're a tennis player, an athlete or athletic in any way, you probably should look for some high end leather tennis shoes that will be durable for running and walking. If you are into comfortable and casual fashion looks, you should probably look for some trendy and stylish tennis shoes that will fit your look. If you are Earth conscience, don't worry, there's a eco-friendly tennis shoe waiting for you out there. You can find tennis shoes at the TennisShoesGuide.com site, in all major brands, styles, and sizes.

There are numerous tennis shoes in the market today. Depending on your level of tennis playing, you should choose the tennis shoes that are right for you! There are numerous factors that you should take into consideration before purchasing a tennis shoe.

Before we start, let me tell you a few things about myself. I have been playing tennis for 15 years now, and I still continue to play competitively with people around me. For my side job, I review tennis accessories. In return for getting all the tennis accessories free, I always give a quality review of the product for the company that sends me their item. With this said, I have gone through literally hundreds of tennis shoes, checking each one and knowing exactly what to look for.

Tennis Shoes Selection

The first thing is the amount you are willing to spend on it. If you play competitively with someone whether it is friends or for a tournament, you should definitely look into buying a mid range to high range tennis shoe. The reason for this is that when you are in the middle of a competitive game, the worst thing that could happen is your shoe starting to bother you. It is extremely frustrating when you got additional factors on top of the game you are playing that is stressing you out. You want to be able to focus on your game.

You want to feel how light the shoe is. The lightest shoe is the best. Just because it is light does not mean it is always good. You have to make sure that the shoe is durable as well. Find the one that has high quality material and still provides the lightness you need in order to swiftly move around the court.

You also want to check the sole of the shoe. Most tennis shoes provide this, but occasionally there are some shoes that do not have quality sole on the bottom of their shoes. You do not want to slip at all in the middle of the tennis game. Not only will you lose the point, but it will be embarrassing as well.

Some other key things to look for are the softness and cushion on the heel of your shoes. Comfort is extremely important if you are going to be playing for a long time. After playing tennis for awhile, your feet will start hurting and get tired soon. By maximizing the comfort from your shoes, you can last a long time on the court without feeling any discomfort. Good luck in choosing your tennis shoes!

Tennis shoes are the base for a better game.

You bought the best racket money can buy, a couple cans of new balls, and got the latest outfit from the Gap, or wherever you shop; so you’re all ready for a great game of tennis. Wait a minute! You forgot something very important, and something that most players probably give only minimal attention to. What about tennis shoes?

Many people have the mistaken belief that any old pair of running shoes, as long as they are white, with perhaps a touch of color for the fashion-minded, will serve for tennis as well. This couldn’t be farther from the truth.

Why use special shoes for tennis?

The movements in tennis place an extraordinary amount of stress on the feet, and especially on the vulnerable Achilles tendon, and are completely different from the movements and stresses of running. In running, the problem is repetitive stress on the knees and arches, but the movements tend to be forward and repeated at a regular tempo. In tennis, depending upon your style of play, movements are erratic, with frequent and abrupt changes in direction. So, in addition to the stress on knees and arches, you have extra stress on ankles and Achilles tendons to deal with. Good running shoes provide arch support, but are not designed to protect adequately in games like tennis or basketball.

Like any sport, tennis requires balance for good performance. Good balance requires a stable platform, and in tennis, that platform is your feet. If you want to maximize your performance and enjoyment of the game, and avoid what can be serious injury, it pays to invest in a good pair of shoes that are especially designed for tennis.
I learned this the hard way several years ago. I was working in northeast China, and played tennis regularly at the Liaoning Province Sports Institute with my Chinese counterparts. One Sunday morning, while diving for a baseline ball, I moved my upper body in one direction while my legs were moving in another, tearing my Achilles tendon. I was on crutches for three months while it healed. Had I been wearing high cut shoes, instead of a pair of low cut running shoes, I might have avoided injury, or at least minimized it.

What do you look for in a pair of special tennis shoes? First and foremost is comfortable fit. They should be sturdy enough to provide support to your arches and ankles, but flexible enough to move with your foot as you play. There has to be lateral support to prevent ankle rollover, especially if you’re a baseline player. If you’re the type player who likes charging the net, you need a shoe with a reinforced toe, but if you’re a baseline player, it is more important that you have shoes with durable soles. On grass surfaces, shoes with little bumps on the sole help with traction. For clay surfaces, you need a fine tread to avoid damage to the court.

Get the most out of your game, and protect one of your most important assets. Invest in a good pair of special tennis shoes.

Wearing the proper tennis shoes is just as important as choosing the correct racket when playing tennis. Both are essential equipment. Tennis shoes are manufactured not only to prevent injury, but also to help you improve your game. Although all athletic shoes are often referred to as tennis shoes, real tennis shoes are made specifically for the sport of tennis.

What Are Tennis Shoes?

All tennis shoes have some things in common. A leather and/or synthetic mesh upper covers the sides and top of the shoes. Tennis can be particularly hard on your foot and ankle, sometimes exerting up to five times your own body weight on quick acceleration and sudden stops. Because of this, tennis shoes provide a lot of lateral support, much more than shoes needed for sports such as running.

The sport of tennis dates back to Roman times, but the evolution of tennis shoes as we know them dates from late 19th century in the British Isles. Upper class men and women played tennis or croquet on lawns in flowing white clothes. On their feet were expensive laced canvas or leather shoes with rubber soles. As time went on, the cost of the shoes went down and the quality improved. Beginning in the 1960’s, tennis shoe design improved in terms of both functionality and stylish design.

When buying tennis shoes, it’s important to try a variety of brands. Manufacturers size their shoes differently and fit varies within a brand name depending on style. Pay attention to length, width, and height of instep. Feet also vary depending on arch shape, with a flat-footed athlete needing more medial support.

Another thing to consider before you buy includes the type of court you’ll be playing on. Think about whether you’ll play mostly on hard court surfaces, clay, or grass. Remember that many clubs require non-marking soles, which prevent black marks on the court.

The amount of money you spend on your shoes will depend on a few factors. How often do you play? If your habit is to spend more than one day a week on the courts, it’s wise to invest in a quality pair of shoes that will stand up to frequent use. For those who have foot or ankle issues, paying extra for orthotics is worth the expense. However, if you only play an occasional game, a less expensive shoe should be fine, as long as the fit is correct.

Shoes for Tennis

Adidas has been one of the best types of tennis shoes to go with. I find them to be comfortable and will last you a while. Not only does it save you from having to replace a pair constantly, but the deals you can get if you buy online can save you as well. They have men, women, and kids shoes with any size you need. You can pick your favorite color or design. In Europe the company is the largest manufacturer with their cloths, bags, and other sports related items. In the U.S it is the second largest, right behind Nike. Adidas’s well known three parallel lines on the side of the shoe is a give away of by what company it was made from.

Tennis shoes comparison

Nike tennis shoes are just about the same as the Adidas. They are light and easy to run with for when you need to get across the court fast to get a ball. I always enjoyed the different designs they had, and the colors you can choose from. Their style is noticed and marked with the backwards check mark on the side.

A lot of the shoes companies do sell their tennis shoes at a local store. I found a nice pair of Nike tennis shoes at JC Penny and they surprisingly had a good selection. Olympia Sports has a variety of tennis shoes from Adidas and Nike.

The popular brand to use among tennis shoes would be the Nike Air Zoom Vapor V. What I really enjoyed was the forefoot flexibility it gives you for running quickly. You would love how it fits your feet comfortable and helps for standing and running. This shoe is great for high performance tennis. You will not be disappointed if you choose this shoe. Since it’s a light shoe you can just about glide across anything; it would be as if you’re barefoot. The tread that is on the bottom grips well on any pavement and great for quick movements; with that grip the shoe is very responsive to your every move. I enjoy running in that shoe, it makes it more effortless and graceful. If you want a great quality shoe that’s comfortable, and reliable I would go with the Nike Air Zoom Vapor V. Go get yours now, your feet will thank you for it.
